COMMODITY/CATEGORY MANAGEMENT
West Enterprises can implement programs to manage a specific singular or group of commodities such as Building Supplies, Electrical Products, Welding Consumables, etc.
In such a role, WE will take the lead role in determining product and service requirements, technicalanalyses, inventory parameters, etc. Our staff will help select and negotiate with key providers (manufacturers, distributors, service/technical organizations, etc.), establish and monitor baseline information, track and measure numerous metrics (fill rate, inventory turn, cost savings, process savings, inventory reduction, etc.) and provide unbiased technical support. In most cases these programs can greatly benefit from On Site support, however based upon the needs of the client, these activities can be performed through a Central Services group.
